LPC Associate, supervised by Reem Glasco, LPC-S
Nica Ayala, M.A.
Curious about who her clients are and convinced of their inherent value, with a relaxed, trust-based space the client leads.
Hi! My name is Nica and I work with individual adults, ages 25-55.
You are looking for happiness and purpose but you are feeling drained and overwhelmed. You want to change but maybe you don’t know how to make that happen or even where to start.
You are having difficulty figuring out where you belong. Your values and aspirations don’t align with what you see other people doing. You might need help identifying unmet needs or maybe you feel like you need to break away from things that no longer resonate with you.
You feel like you don’t have a space to discuss the difficult aspects of your life. You don’t want to be judged or feel like a burden, but you don’t want to feel isolated and alone either. You’re looking to strengthen your ability to communicate and connect with other people.
I invite you to take up space.
I approach therapy with genuine curiosity about who my clients are and a belief in their inherent value. I try to create a relaxed and trust-based space where my clients can guide the way to explore anything they want. I am sex-positive, weirdo-friendly, shame-free towards addiction, and an LGBTQIA+ ally.
Ask me about nature-based therapy and how it’s used in the healing process!

What supervision means here
An LPC Associate is fully qualified and licensed, and is completing the supervised hours Texas requires before full licensure. Nica's work is reviewed regularly by Reem Glasco, LPC-S, which means two clinicians are thinking about your case rather than one.
This practice does not provide emergency care. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
Start with Nica
Free 15-minute consultation, and it commits you to nothing. If you are not sure whether Nica is the right fit, say so in the first message, or ask the practice and you will be pointed at whoever is.
